Edtech Platform Kyna English Secures Series B Funding

Kyna English, a leading online education platform based in Ho Chi Minh City, has successfully completed its Series B funding round for an undisclosed amount. The round was led by Asia Business Builders, with additional contributions from DTP Education Group and Kyna English’s co-founder and CEO, Ho Hong Bao Tram.

The investment will fuel Kyna English’s expansion into new markets, including Thailand, Indonesia, and Laos, while strengthening its presence in Vietnam. The company also aims to enhance its AI-driven personalized tutoring platform, which provides tailored learning experiences for students, ensuring more effective educational outcomes.
Since its launch in 2020, Kyna English has made significant strides in online education. The platform has served over 150,000 learners and facilitates more than 15,000 classes daily. With a global network of 8,000 tutors, the company has successfully delivered over 10 million one-on-one classes, solidifying its position as a key player in the edtech sector.
This funding round underscores Asia Business Builders’ commitment to supporting high-impact, growth-oriented companies in Vietnam and beyond.
